Our biggest problem that has no simple solution.

 

In any tactical situation it is always good to know two things to ensure that we are the victors. first, understand who we are are a people; and second, know your enemy. This has always served us well when dealing with a criminal. Let us be sure that we see this in the manner in which we do criminal profiling. How do we not allow this simple principle transcend the immediate environment and help us in a lager scale operations? It is a dangerous place for one to find themselves in. And so this is the place we are in now.

There is a rather fitting maxim regarding history:  "those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it." In other words, one can be blind-sighted by deceit and manipulation.  Two agree for a peaceful resolution; one is honourable and other is dishonourable. One expects their to be honesty on both end; the other does not share that conclusion for he has a different end to achieve. And the result is clear. 

History is ignored in favour of false ideal 

Not to long ago in the past, we face a situation where two men were trying to establish a peaceful outcome to a very bleak situation. Yet one was acting out of less than pure motives-- that man, of course, was Hitler. And we know that from our history that was not the wise thing for us to do because it would left us at hands of a ruthless tyrant.  However, not every man  in England was taken in by such a clear underhanded tactic; one man stood against such a treaty. That man, of course, was our own Winston Churchill. Let us think of what would have been if Hitler had won this: we would be one people forced to speak one language; and believe in one common ideal. Does this sound familiar? It should. 

Islam is one man ruling every place on earth; one people speaking one language (but never understanding it); and holding to one common ideal. No wonder that Hitler  named his manual "mien kampf" which means my Jihad. The Islamic Holy War. It does no-one no good to do revision to what is clear from history as many are willing to do; there is nothing in this but compromise. 

Think of Satan who states this: 

He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” (Gen. 3:2)

Satan here is being his usual cunning and out-right deceptive self. But we know that he sow lies and hates the truth because we are told:

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)

 A key trick of enemy of all righteousness is to distort truth by taking it and twisting it even to the slightest degree. But we need to see that all things are up for grabs to him; and none more so than cause one to either disregard history or ever so subtly twist it to suit one own purpose-- and Islam is known for both as it adherents do both. Still the more pressing question arises:  How do we justify closing our minds to history? How do we ignore such blatant manhandling? what can be done in such matter as these?  

It is all too familiar to say Islam is a "religion of peace";  or Islam is "religion that does not condone such things. "  But here is the problem with this issue: Islam is none of these things because it does not start at the peaceful point but the war point (622 ad and on going) why else does it make a song and dance of when it settles in medina and ignores the prior times of ignorance.   Islam, in reality , happens to be sown on a bed of death and destruction. there is nothing new in this Muhammad left as an example and Taliban (students of the Quran and Islamic theology) know this and put into practice

We cannot afford to sacrifice our lives to ignorance. Know our history and know it well. 

 Theology is dismissed as a rout cause

 It is important for us to understand that all that has taken place with those that are falsely called "Islamists" happens to be a clear indication that the reality of the matter is that they are Muslims who take their faith seriously. But this is not to say those who are not committing atrocities are not Muslims because they are. The truth is Islam teach a two nature mandate peace for those place that they are in the minority; and act violence in those that are the majority. This is what the religion teaches; and to say one is wrong completely misses the fact that both are justifiable by the Quran and hadith. 

Let us ask: how can such a position of violence ever be justified?  

Simple in the following manner it is both a command and mandate that if one does not submit (and that is what Islam means) to Muhammad's path; then you must die or be subjugated as a second class citizen (a dhimmi) And on top of this, Islam is a man centric ideology women are viewed in the same way as non -Muslims they are seen as being intellectually and religiously deficient. And this is the reason why all women in the now Taliban ruled area are being forced to give up all education and work-related roles because they are unworthy.  A far-cry from what the bible teaches about women being co-heirs and worthy due to being created in God Image and being renewed by the Spirit. This is the clear difference between the two path: women are honoured by Christ; and clearly dishonoured by Muhammad.

To make this point even more clear-- one can read Surahs 9:5; 29-34; 2: 190-192: 216 for violence; and then read Surahs 2:223; 2:82; 3:14; 4: 11; 4:24; 4:34. There is no other way around this matter: just as Satan hates the truth and those who live by it; so does all that are linked to him. And Islam is one of the worst threats to Christianity.

We should note the following statements; and consider the matter with all seriousness:

There are six things that the Lord hates,  seven that are an abomination to him:

 

haughty eyes, a lying tongue,  and hands that shed innocent blood,

 

a heart that devises wicked plans,  feet that make haste to run to evil, 

a false witness who breathes out lies,  and one who sows discord among brothers. (Proverbs 6: 16-19)

Islam has a god that allows for religious sanctioned lying and deceit: also known as Takkiya. It has a god that is known as "the best of all deceivers." (Quran 3:55; 8: 30); it has a "prophet" who was made to a universal pattern of conduct; who could not tell the difference between a revelation from God and Satan. 

though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.

 

Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.

 

A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin. (Proverbs 26: 26-28)

  

Not only does the one true God abhor lying and bearing false witness against Himself. He also has no affiliation with those who mask hate or out right hate something. And Muhammad's religion teaches its adherents to do both "hate through deceitful means" and "hate through lying." But Satan love to manipulate the truth; he did so with Adam and Eve with success; he failed with Christ; but he succeeded with a man such as Muhammad.  But such a man falls under the condemnation in Pr. 26:24.

It gets worse when we take note of this tactic: 

For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive  (Rom. 16:18)

And also:

They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart. They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity... to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, (Eph. 4: 18-19; 22)

The Apostle Paul is clear man natural defence is to lie and deceive-- and to have a religion that is geared to that end makes all the more diabolical and damnable for those in such a religion. So why is there so much war? Because as James says it is "being at enmity with God and loving the world."  (4:1-8) But Islam can never know nothing other than worldliness because it was born out of the carnal desire and sinful passions of one man who could not prove his claim. 

There is a clear reason why this distinction is necessary because they are acting according to their faith as we have already noted; but even more so, they are fulfilling prophetic witness:

Whom are you mocking? Against whom do you open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue? Are you not children of transgression, the offspring of deceit..   (Isiah 57:4)

And also: 

Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceitfully; with his mouth each speaks peace to his neighbour, but in his heart he plans an ambush for him. (Jeremiah 9: 8)

And this can be seen other statements by this very prophet such as chapter 5:29; 8:5; 9:6; 14:15; 15:18; 17:9; 23: 26.Now from this we must see that deceit is apart of natural man's very character; and because Islam is a natural man's religious attempt to destroy Christian truth therefore, the conclusion easy to discern. let us note these:  "And from the time that an alliance is made with him he shall act deceitfully, and he shall become strong with a small people."  (Daniel 11:23; also 8:25)  "Your rich men are full of violence; your inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth." (Micah 6:12) 

 Let us think on this very carefully.

A radical distinction being forced 

It is to the shame of the west that we so reluctantly allow the media to define who this enemy is or is not. Let it be know that when they speak in such vague way such as "Isis or Taliban do not represent the majority of the Muslims in the world;"  such a standard does not do the situation any justice. It should never be, 'does this group represent the majority?'  or 'this small group is a minority and does not represent the whole." That is the same as asking does this group who claims to be Christian represent the whole? 

The answer is simple: it is not about whether a minority represents the whole; but rather do any of them represent the official teach accurately and faithfully? 

And the answer is this: yes to both; it is as I said above, that Islam has never been regarded as one particular ideal. In other words, it is no monolithic. The Islamic holy writings allow for there two seemingly contradictory expressions: the one of peace; and the other of violence. why is this? because it teaches that one can be in a state of peace while in a place where the enemy far out weighs their own numbers. But at the same time, where there is a majority to their own favour they can exert themselves in order to achieve their main objective: to conquer and subjugate every place on earth.

This why it is important to know your enemy as we are told in these words:

Or what king, going out to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and deliberate whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? And if not, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace. (Luke 14: 31-32)

This is problem with the west 20 years ago we went to war against an enemy that we had no real idea of whom he was or what he stood for or against. And with each passing year when there has been another attack, no matter its impact, we have been forced to believe it has nothing to do with the Islamic ideology when it in reality has everything to do with it.  

What can be done?

Humanly speaking nothing because we come to the battle with the wrong weaponry: you do not deal with spiritual battle with physical weapons. No. There is only one way to come to it; and that is with the Gospel truth.  They need to: 1. repent and turn from their sins.   2. come to Christ for forgiveness and believe in Him.
